Ello.

Been awhile yeah? Nothing really new over here, same as always. Just a little down I suppose. You know how that goes. Lately I’ve been having a hard time just knitting, but I am starting to get back into it.

I finished this top for my mum for mother’s day. I need to block it still…like that’s getting done.  For some reason I really couldn’t get the lace down for awhile, I understood it but for some reason I kept dropping the yarn over’s and getting pretty peeved off at it. I’m just glad it’s done. If she doesn’t fancy it I’ll wear it.

 I’ve started another beatnik sweater, this time for me. I’m taking my sweet time this round, rather than rushing it in 10 days for Christmas. I’ve had a lot of stop and go with this one, getting peeved at the cables and everything as well.

My hair has turned from that blue to this blue/green. It’s rather odd but I really dig it. I need a hair cut badly though, starting to get called Justin Bieber again which is weird. I don’t know if they are calling me a boy, or him a girl. Could go either way!

 

And lastly, it’s clover season once again! Time to add to my 100+ four and five leaf clovers. This is the smallest one I have found so far.

This is where they live, it’s overfilled at the moment because it’s rather just a press…not a box. I really love it, though.

First things first, I colored my hair over the past two days. At first it was this weird green color and I was all “oh hell naw this isn’;t what I wanted” so I recolored it the next day and BAM perfect color.

Second, I see everyone is into the punky headbands lately and of course I had to make my own. I was going to buy one at urban but they wanted 30 stupid dollars yeah no thanks jerks. Found an old belt, added lace and some elastic. BOOM instant headband. I’m just a crafty lil beaver this weekend.

Oh and hopefully now with the new dye job and headband I’ll stop getting called Justin Bieber now, soooo annoying.

cuff n stuff

Finished the Totoro mitts!! I changed colors because the pink/gray ones were too tight and crappy and I really hated them with a passion. Plush I’m more of a turquoise girl anyway.

Totoro to to roooo god I’m obsessed send help but not really because totoro4lyfe. I got asked to make two more pairs for other people so now I’m like a knitting totoro ninja.

Alright so I know I said I wouldn’t do those lame outfit posts, but I really liked my outfit today SO DEAL WITH IT

I mean come on, this outfit is pretty rad. I caved and got bright ass blue colored jeans the other day and I’m pretty in love with them. When I went to Starbucks some numbskull dude’s outside said that I wasn’t skinny enough/pretty enough to rock them but they can go suck their own wangs because I will wear whatever I want.

I also hate when numbskull owners leave their dogs in their cars while they shop and it’s REALLY FREAKING HOT OUT. Come on you jerks, leave the lil buddies at home in the AC or something. This guy was clawing at the window trying to get out, and trust me I was very close to letting him out and stealing him, so dang cute.

Still obsessing over Totoro so of course I had to make some mittens. It’s getting out of hand you guys. Already planning some hats and maybe a sweater?!?!?! Yeah might as well get a whole freaking Totoro outfit.
